This course is designed to get you thinking about the various competencies of emotional intelligence as they apply to you. Truly effective leaders are also distinguished by a high degree of emotional intelligence, which includes: self-awareness, managing emotions, motivating oneself, empathy, and social skills. Participants will learn to:
- Understand their own emotional triggers
- Learn techniques to avoid an “amygdala hijack” and maintaining control in stressful situations
- Understand conflict in terms of degree of cooperativeness and assertiveness and tips to manage effectively
- Demonstrate empathy
- Harness to power of emotional intelligence in the workplace
